Here at AIS Balikpapan, we have just given out our first years worth of Bronze awards. It was wonderful to see the students congratulated for their hard work and efforts over the last 12 months. 

Our "year" has been a bit disjointed as we ran it from Term 3 2103 until Term 3 2014. When we first started in 2013 we had 8 students. By the start of 2014 we had just about all of our secondary campus involved (we are small but still!) It was great to see how the students were signing up…

 We are very new to the programme here at AIS Balikpapan but thought I would give a quick update as to how things were progressing.  When we started the programme the students brainstormed their ideas about being a global citizen and what they wanted to achieve from being involved in the award programme. We are now meeting once a week, after school, and we alternate between having this meeting at school where we discuss issues, come up with ideas etc and on the alternate week…
