International Global Citizen's Award

encouraging young people to become better global citizens

Looking backwards and looking forwards

The end of the calendar year and the start of a new year provide a clear opportunity to look back over what has been achieved, and to look forward with new plans and determination.

Within the IGCA, this time of year provides a very good opportunity for participants to look back over their journey so far within the programme, to review their development and change. And then to look forward to any plans for future research, activity or action as developing global citizens.

As reflection and resolutions form an important part of the IGCA, over the years we have shared various ideas and resources to use with participants. These are posted on the IGCA Ning website.

Pledges

One form of resolution is a pledge - a commitment made to others to undertake particular action.
