First Year Complete!

Here at AIS Balikpapan, we have just given out our first years worth of Bronze awards. It was wonderful to see the students congratulated for their hard work and efforts over the last 12 months.

Our "year" has been a bit disjointed as we ran it from Term 3 2103 until Term 3 2014. When we first started in 2013 we had 8 students. By the start of 2014 we had just about all of our secondary campus involved (we are small but still!) It was great to see how the students were signing up…

May I begin by introducing myself. My name is Balwinder and I am currently running the IGCA at The English Academy, Kuwait.
Students at TEA are thoroughly enjoying participating in the IGCA and are appreciating the knowledge they are gaining. We have helped a local university break a Guinness World record of most clothes collected by a nation through running a clothes drive in school, created art and useful items from recycled products, plan improvements for Shanty Towns through…

Recording and reflecting

It's now that time of year when students are putting together their portfolio of evidence to present to the group for the Award. I came up with the attached spreadsheet to help students record their activities.
